Long time since posting here now. Some moths disconnected. Everything is ok. Still on drops, and every month I go to see the surgeon. I wonder if thre endothelium will ever be perfect. Planned to have a check in the autumn and a possible re-graft when the pollen season is finally over.

How long is it now since you had your surgery? the pollen season is bad for us all, and I can hardly control the urge to claw at my itchy eyes. but instead I just put in copious quantities of artificial tears.

I normaly have only problems with sneezing and irritation in my nose. I worry that it may affect the recent graft, because heavy sneezing increases the pressure in the eye. But it seems to me that everything is ok so far.

How are things in Port of Glasgow ? :)

That's neat. You've got to admire the handiwork!

Per, thanks for the photo. That really is very neat stitching.

I'm still not sure which is better, the even tension of a running stitch like yours, or the adjustability of individual stitches, like my new one.

I guess that the reason both are in use is that ophthalmologists are unsure themselves of the relative merits of the two systems.

maybe we will only know years after surgery whether the particular system used in our respective cases has been suitable, but even then we will have no way of knowing whether the other would have been better.

Well, back on here again then

Had my stitches removed friday, and what a painful experience to follow that. Like having dust in the eye for 24 hours. Vision is to be re measured in the end of nov then. But judging from what I see now I will have to go for some heavy specs

Havent been on here for ages now, hope you are all ok, John, Andrew and the rest of the lot. Will try to post more frequent on here in the future.

Cheers !

Welcome back Per. I mentioned to Anne only the other day that we hadn't heard from you for a long time.

Don't forget to let us know how you get on following your reassessment.

Good to hear from you again.
Please have a listen to my daughter, if you have a spare moment, on www.myspace.com/emmaparnes. She also wrote the songs.
