I guess that the reason both are in use is that ophthalmologists are unsure themselves of the relative merits of the two systems.
maybe we will only know years after surgery whether the particular system used in our respective cases has been suitable, but even then we will have no way of knowing whether the other would have been better.

Well, back on here again then
Had my stitches removed friday, and what a painful experience to follow that. Like having dust in the eye for 24 hours. Vision is to be re measured in the end of nov then. But judging from what I see now I will have to go for some heavy specs
Havent been on here for ages now, hope you are all ok, John, Andrew and the rest of the lot. Will try to post more frequent on here in the future.
