I did find this site that suggests a Magnexium deficiency in KC. It is known that hormones have an effect on Magnesium retention.

My father was from Chicago, although he grew up in Pittsburg PA. I often get my spelling mixed up between UK and US English. Sometimes, and just out of badness, I throw in perfectly good Scottish words like "outwith" just to confuse everybody.
