Hello James,

I'm really sorry to hear about your latest rejection episode. What are your symptoms?

None of my (7) rejection episodes required me to be admitted, so hopefully, you'll be as lucky as myself.

Please let us all know how you're getting on. I'm sure we're all thinking of you.
John

James

I hope things go well when you get admitted! I agree; not the best way to start! But I really do hope they halt it and your back in action!

James

Hope all goes well for you. I will keep my fingers crossed.
No time of year is good for a rejection episode however, it would have been nice for it to have waited a wee while until after the festive period.

best wishes

Susan
don't let the people that mean nothing to you get you down, because in the end they are worth nothing to you, they are just your obstacles in life to trip you up!

James, being admitted might not mean the graft is beyond saving, I was admitted with an episode of rejection for a subconjunctival injection & hourly drops and the graft survived. Really hope this is the case for you, fingers crossed, everything crossed. Take care

Postby james mckinlay » Tue 03 Jan 2006 10:28 pm

HI THANKS FOR ALL THE KIND WISHES I WAS AT THE HOSPITAL TODAY AND THEY SAY MY GRAFT IS REJECTING AND I HAVE TO INCREASE MY DROPS TO EVERY HOUR SO FINGERS CROSSED I AINT ADMITTED YET BUT IF IT KEEPS DEVELOPING THE WAY IT IS THEN THEY WILL ADMIT ME.

BUT ITS NOT THE END AS IVE HAD A TOTAL OF 14 REJECTION EPISODES NOW SO IM USED TO THEM BUT THE RIGHT EYE IS THE BETTER OF THE TWO AS I CAN ONLY SEE LIGHT AND SHADOWS IN MY LEFT.

THEY SAY I HAVE IRITIS ASWELL WHICH IS NOT HELPING THINGS.

I HAVE TO REPORT AGAIN TOMORROW AND SEE WHAT THE STATE OF PLAY IS ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU FOR YOU SUPPORT.

ALSO THE SYMPTOMS I HAVE ARE SWELLING LOADS OF PAIN AND WATTERING ALSO REDNESS AND JUST THAT FEELING SOMETHING ISNT RIGHT

I WILL POST A DIARY OF HOW ITS GOING AND ABOUT MY PAST REJECTIONS

THANKS AGAIN AND HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

JAMES
