POEM (KC - let me spell it out to you!)

Postby Sweet » Tue 26 Jul 2005 12:06 am

Ok, three months have passed, and i can kinda see again, so am going to try to forget ALL the self pity as it got me nowhere anyway, and move on. Am getting slightly more optimistic now, mostly because i am back at work, so have decided to drop back in! LOL!

Was getting REALLY tired though of having to explain this condition again, and again, and oh ..... did i say AGAIN to people, so thought i would write a little poem to spell it out to them LOL. Well, even though they won't see it, or really understand, it made me feel better!

Have noticed a lot of newbies here as well, so hoping it will help you to spell it, as i know i had a hard time in the beginning LMAO!

Ok, hope you like it! ..... Sweet X x X

K is for Knowledge, which we all should share
while E is for Empathy to show that we care
R is for Relief, finding something that works!
Though A could be Anger when this just makes it worse!
T is for Trust in the specialists we see
while O is for Open, which we hope they will be
C is for lens Comfort, and need i say more?
while O is for Optometrist, as they know the score!
N is to Negotiate on what doctors can do
while U is for Understanding just what we go through!
Lastly S is for Support, which will help us to see
and these letters placed this way ..... all spell out KC!!

Haha, for once i said LITTLE and i meant it!!

Brilliant, Sweet!
And so good to know you're back at work at last. Here's hoping all your troubles are over for a long long while!

Thanks for that!

Lynn you don't need to reply lol! I didn't really address this one to anyone, was just venting and trying to make sense of this stupid word anyway. I hate this word really, and would like to give it a nicer name! LMAO! I don't like the letter K, so starting it with that is hard before i even start!

And NO, before you think way too much, spelling KC backwards wouldn't really work as a poem!!
