I'm going to be taking a peek at a couple of the presentations for the conference, and making sure that the slides are readable for an audience with KC.
My plan is to go basic. Large, serifed text (as the serifs are designed to help make things legible - but are not so useful with tiny text!) probably in yellow on a dark blue background. A nice contrast without creating too much ghosting. At least for me.
And that's why I'm writing. Would people (anyone can answer, but I'd especially like to hear from those attending the conference!) find another scheme easier on the eye?

Hi there! Im not going to the conference as you know, but kinda thought id say something anyway! LOL!!
Im not really sure about yellow? I know a lot of people here think it makes things easier, but i find it too light even on a dark background. I find darker letters on a light background easier.
Anyway just thought id say something! Though dark blue is nice
Have fun!

I genrally tend to find.. light pastel background colours... with dark fonts easier to read!

I kinda think that is why road signs are dark green with yellow and white text and rear number plates yellow with black letters!! I have no problem reading those!! Though what happened to the front one being white with black letters i dont know!!! I cant read that one but the good thing is i dont need to, as i dont want to drive into it!!!!!!!
