We do need to be careful with newspaper stories and their headlines. In the detail we read:
"The authors stressed, though, that while there appeared to be a close association between moderate drinking and cataracts, they had not found a definite causal link."
"UK Biobank could give a skewed picture of the nation’s health because many volunteers were often [already] in good health"
