Hello,
in 2 weeks I have appointment with optometric for hard lenses. I have keratoconus in 1. stage and using eyeglasses but dont correct vision well. Also I tried soft toric lenses and its more sharp but i see a lot of ghosts. I have some question for you and i will be glad if you answer me.
1.) Fixes hard lenses ghosting?
2.) Will i see more sharp with hard lenses than with eyeglasses?
Thanks!

Re: Questions about Hard Lenses
Hi Keratetko,
Yes, you should expect to have less problem with ghosting with rigid lenses compared to soft ones.
Also rigid lenses should give better vision than glasses as rigid lenses can effectively address the problems of the irregular astigmatism of keratoconus.
Have a look at this explanation about contact lenses for keratoconus:

Re: Questions about Hard Lenses
I don't have such a problem with sharpness. My vision is 20/20. Biggest problem for me is "ghosting". When white letters are on a black background, I see their shadows and see it twice. For example I see double mouse cursor when is black background. Im working on computer like graphic designer and its very irritating and it makes me depressed.
Do you think hard lenses fixing it?

Re: Questions about Hard Lenses
Ghosting is annoying, especially when looking at text.
Rigid lenses should reduce ghosting. There are lots of different designs of rigid lenses for keratoconus but you may have to try a few designs before finding the one that works for you.
