Hi,
I had surgery in my left eye in last September and now I am noticing a slight decrement in vision(more ghosting) although my scans showed improvement. I have given links to my scans before operation and 5 months after operation.

I an see improvements in lower part of the eye but there has been slight worsening in middle and upper part of eye. Is this thing common?
Sorry for poor quality of images.

Your timing and your eyes are very similar to mine. You can see less red i.e. intenseness in the later scan, this is good! Remember for the first year after CXL, eyes can get worse before they get better (thinner) as the eye is healing itself.

Re: Scans after half year
Thank you Cripps. But did you notice the decrement in upper and mid section. I think it is creating a little bit of haziness for me as it is in center part of the eye. I hope that it fades out soon as the eye heals itself. I can notice the reduction in thickness of the cornea but does it take over a year to heal the eye completely because I think its a very long time.

Have a read through this buddy...
Corneal CXL is associated with a transient reduction in central corneal thickness, which recovered to baseline after 12 months.

Can you also tell me about the long terms affects of cxl? I mean is it permanent or Keratoconus can start progressing again?

It can start progressing again, although it's unlikely. I think there are people out there that have had it done several times! Not really viable for me as it isn't available on the NHS in my area. They should be able to tell you whether your CXL has been successful after a year or so.
