Excellent. He is one of the guys I researched as part of my choice and seems to be amongst the top. I went to see him also.

FYI - Having gne through practically all the known Corneal Guys - the most experienced, cutting edge and respected seem to be

David Gartry
Moorefields

Sheraz Daya
http://www.centreforsight.com/index.php

David OBrart - http://www.davidobrart.co.uk/index.html

Thats having gone though about 45 Corneal Guys and researched there work, publications, etc.

Damn that makes me sounds a complete loser lol

The above is of course, only Jayuk's opinion. The KC group cannot endorse any individual practitioner.

The ones i mentioned, are the ones myself and my Optician are familiar with and had time to research, but I am sure many exist that are just as good.

You beat me to it John, but what I have found over the past 20 years having KC is that most of the specialists are very familier with each others work across the country.

I hope there will be some at the confrence which I hope to be lucky enough to attend as I would like to mee them along with the infamous KenPullen.

Well went to my 2nd consultaation and had various tests done, in Thickness, Pressure, few others as well and now set for the Graft on June 13th.

However, have asked for the op to be brought forward to end of this month. Was told the reason for this delay was due to Cornea material and its shortage. So I have had a choice to buy in material from USA which I am aiming to do.

If that goes well, it will more than likely be within 3 weeks.

Thank god!!

Just another update I guess

Got a call today (Sunday) asking if I am able to come in at short notice for the Graft in the coming week or two. Was kind of relieved as I want this procedure over and done with so I can start the recovery process....

Agreed and just told them that Id need to notify work and my Health Insurance....and then Im ready to rumble!!
