Thanks guys, that's really useful about the contacts and which one is which, I hadn't even thought about that :)

I am going to see my GP tomorrow to ask about being referred to Sheffield. I'm hoping this wont be a problem, has anyone else had to change hospitals before?

I got referred by my gp to st James in Leeds without problem although I live 60 miles away.

I had seen a consultant and lens practitioner there privately for a few years beforehand though

Hurrah!! GP said she would refer me to Sheffield, so just got to wait for first app now :D
