Thanks for all the advice, I go to moorefield eye hospital right now. And just my luck, my lens moved to the button of my eye and I went to the bathroom to try and re-position it, but it ended up falling down the drain :(. I will phone up moorfield now and see what they say.

Thanks alot :)

Too late now but something anyone appraoching a sink to do anything with their lenses in is to put the plug in.

Another tip is to prevent a dropped lens getting chipped as it hits the hard sink surface is to put a flannel in the bottom of the sink or drape a towle ove the sink and make a small depression to catch the lens.

If you drop a lens, a fine cloth, stockings, gauze over the end of a vacuum cleaner will help pick up those hard to find lenses that get dropped on to the floor.

In the words of Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, always know wehre your towle is because it comes in very useful if you need to make use of public toilets to sort lenses out. You know it is clean to put your stuff on and as said above, stops lenses going down the plug hole and most public toilets don't have plugs because idiots put the plug in and leave all the taps on to flood the place!

Its the work toilet so they dont really have anything to block it, I had a towel on the side of the sink but the lens manage to bounce just about enough to get to the sink, I guess it happens. Been having trouble getting through to the contact lens deparmet but I will keep trying.

That's exactly why I always have a towel over the sink

Hey, update time agian.

So I went back to moorefield on the 29th of October, they poped my old lens back into my left eye and it just wouldnt stay in, it kept falling out and after 20mins we tired a different shape which was much better. I don't remember it every being so bad so it might mean my left eye is changing shape. I have the new left lens in, it is still not as good as the right one and hurts a lot more. I have a follow up on the 22nd which I hope can maybe get me another lens that fits better.

I am also due for another check up in March which may (Looking more and more likey each time I visit) lead to me needing a CXL. I hope it doesnt come down to this but if my left eye (The good one) is getting worse which it seems to be I would rather try and stop that as its my only hope most of the time.

Thanks for all the amazing advice so far its been very helpful in times I thought I had no other options.
