help please
Hi all I’ve had a cornea graft in my left eye over 2 years ago but have had trouble with pressure in the eye so have been on drops for most of it as well as vexol rejecting drop. Iam now off the pressure drops but since the op my eye lid is lower than before and looks swollen most of the time. The doc said its due to the drops and the op so have asked if i can have the eye lid uplifted due to it but he said i should wait to see if it improves after i have stopped taking the pressure drops. Have anyone had similar experience?

What drops are you on for the pressure ? . I went on to vexol as the dexamethasone put the pressure up into the 40's. I am now taking cosopt twice a day and lumigan at night. I found the Lumigan has turned my lid very dark. It looks like I have a black eye some times. I also have thick eye lashes (not a good luck for a bloke) The lid is droopy but I put that down to thirty years of stretching when blinking a rigid contact lens out.

Hi Ian
was on timotol pressure drops on and off for just over two years also on lumigan for about 4 months then pressure went up so went back on timotol. I've been off the pressure drops since April 2012. Yes have the same problem as you the eye lashes have grown on my left eye and the eye lid is dark also and it look like I have a black eye from time to time plus eye lid is droopy also since the op. The doc said it was due to the op which can make it more elastically and also he thinks it’s down to the pressure drops. But since I have stopped taken it the lid still looks the same as well has the eye. Reference vexol my pressure 2 years aso went up to 42 so he gave me another drop can't remember the name as well has pressure drops. after about 1 month he changed it back to vexol because for some reason i started getting breathing problems due to the drop since then it's been fine. My body was rejecting the drop for some reason. and after that it been fine the pressure i mean but had to take pressure drops with it for nearly two years
