Hard times! I am sorry you are having such a lot of difficulties. I know that you went into CXL with high hopes and great expectations.

Focusing on the eye that needs a graft, you will probably get an invitation to a pre-theatre assessment day. Take a load of quesitons, not least among which should be ones about the type of surgery and the method they use. Write your questions down in a notepad (I now use my iPhone, but I used to take a spiral back notepad with all my scribbles), and make sure that you do not leave the consultation until all your questions have been answered to your satisfaction.

as far as im aware yes i will be having this treatment in the nhs as no body has mentioned any thing of a charge or private treatmnet
