Hello. My Mum has been told there's something wrong with her corneas by her gp and optician and told to chose one of the hospitals in southern Hampshire to see an opthalmologist for tests &c. She's anxious about it - probably my fault as I had some trouble with incorrect diagnoses and subsequent irrelevant treatment (on the way to being sorted now but slow process!) - so she is worried that she might also get an incorrect diagnosis. She has a choice of Queen Alexandra hospital by Portsmouth or the Southampton hospital I think. Does anybody have any recommendations or reassurance I can give my Mum? Much appreciated if you can help!

I'm afraid I don't know about services in Hampshire, but I just wanted to wish you well with you search for a good department.
