Kerasoft lenses

Postby alice44 » Tue 22 Jan 2008 12:40 pm

I have just been to try out the kerasoft lenses at the hospital.

All good news. They gave me pretty much the same results as my glasses, but......and here's the good bit.....hardly ANY glare. Obviously it is a bit premature to get too excited, but they've ordered me some to try and I came away very positive. They were really comfy too.

The other bit of good news as I could see 6/9 in my intacs eye today through just glasses (a big improvement) although lots of glare with just the specs.

I will keep you posted.

Alice

You may be right that it is too early to get too excited, but in your position I think I'd allow myself a little muted "yippee" or maybe even a bit of a happy dance.

Well done.

hi alice,

that's great news!

i'm getting a kerasoft lens in my left eye soon. i hope i get the same results with the glare. i can't get good vision in my right eye with the kerasoft though - which seems v strange.

anyway good luck,

tim
