It is.

Very darkly funny as well    you actually like the guy even though he is a serial killer :o :o

The series, although based on the book Darkly Dreaming Dexter, doesn't follow the book to the letter. Season 2 will have no bearing on the second book, Deeply Devoted Dexter, whatsoever.

I am a bit of a Heroes fan. I am finding it hard to sort out where we are in the story. I watched occasionally on Sci Fi and am now filling in gaps on the BBC.

I like it!

The bit there the cheerleader got up from the autopsy table and pulled her flesh around her like an overcoat had to be a classic moment in television.

Does anyone know of any plans to bring Dexter to the non-Sky population?

I ask because my son lives in a block of flats with no sky dish and no permission to put them up. He gets his digital tv on "freeview", and FX seems not to be part of his package. I think he is a bit tired of my telling him how good it is (he is an undertaker and really enjoyed six feet under).

Not heard of any yet, but would suspect channel 4 or five to get it. Five got NCIS and are now rapidly catching up with FX.

In the meantime...has your son got broadband net access at home??? If so then give him this link
