Many of us at one point or another have felt a lack of emotional support and as such have received medical treatment and counselling.
The RNIB have a very good Emotional Support Page that gives the following information;
Sources of emotional Support; coping with feelings, Talking it Over and Emotional Support Telephone Service.
There is also information for counsellors and professionals which I am sure will be of interest to the healthcare people that do there best to help us.
There is far more information than I can do justice to here, so please follow the links which give a lot more information.
I hope this information is useful.
Thanks
Gareth
