I really admire the passion you all have not to mention the great deal of knowledge on this and other subjects. Without it this website wouldn't work. So you are all to be congratulated on that.
I love to see people passionate about something, its a refreshing change! We just have to be that little bit careful that in helping others we do not bash people with a different view who are also trying to help others.
There is no question of 'bugging', everyone's view is very welcome.

hari, what a good post mate, your spot on with what your saying about professionals promoting different treatments for their own personal gain, also what you say about living with a transplant, if everybody who has had one for keratoconus was completely honest, i'm sure they would say they'd rather have had a treatment which was bespoke to our disease. I don't agree with the american doc saying that intacts are a better option than c3r for the solving the "progression issue" of our disease how could they be c3r directly mutates the weakened collagen structure by strengthening it, it's the only pro-active treatment i'm aware of, where as intacts are reacting to the break down in the bowman's layer by adding the little pieces don't get me wrong tho i think intacts are brilliant, my dream would be to wake up 5 years ago and have c3r preformed then intacts inserted instead of having two transplants, I just want other KC'ers to have all the treatments made available to them so that their keratoconus doesn't affect them in their life's because it shouldn't.
