i dont think im cleaning mine properly i wash the lens with bottled water then put the solution on thelense then put it in my eye?
ive got a pouk on my eye and tho i may be paranoid i feel it might be because im not cleaning my lens proeprly
can someone give me a step 2 step guide of cleaning it

Firstly ditch the bottled water!
Before doing anything with lenses, wash your hands carefully first.
This is what the hospital taught me and it is also written in the information leaflet that comes with lens solutions.
1) Rinse a clean lens case with wetting/conditioning solution and fill about 2/3 full.
2) Remove lens and place in palm of hand.
3) Add 3 to 4 drops of cleaning solution on to the lens and rub between thumb and forefinger rubbing both sides of the lens.
4) Rinse the cleaning solution off with saline or wetting/conditioning solution.
5) Place lens in to the appropriate side of the lens case and ensure submersed. Might need to add a few drops of wetting/conditioning solution to lens to make it sink.
To put lenses in, again wash your hands. Either rinse the wetting/conditioning solution of with saline or fresh wetting/conditioning solution. Then wet the lens and GENTLY place onto the eye.
The proper lens solutions do cost but when new they are sterile. Only once opened do the presevatives start to play a part so the solutions last up to 3 months in some cases.
Once per week I use a protein remover tablet and leave my lenses to soak for the day in that before cleaning again as described above and then leave them in wetting/conditioning solution overnight.
Never touch the tip of the opened bottle. Always handle them at the bottom.
Bottled water is not always sterilised nor is tap water depsite it being chlorinated. If they were, they would have written on them in a rectangular box STERILE A on them.
Because we wear lenses so much we are more prone than most to eye infections and because of the sensitivity that often goes along with KC.
