Hmm, I'm not so sure Pat. We were so far off the pace this season that Monsiour Wenger will have to open up his (or rather Mr Hill-Wood's ) wallet, if we are even going to get close :(

Hello peeps,

Just back from a long weekend in the middle of the week in France :D

I would like to point out that we are back in Europe again next season. Hopefully we will go all the way next year. :D

Who do you fancy in the cup final tomorrow? Personally I would rather see Man U even tho it will give them the double again.

Lesley.

Hope you had a good time in France Lesley. Whereabouts did you go?

I have to say as an Arsenal supporter I can't really bring myself to want Chelsea to win - but as a Londoner I ought to support them!

So - all I can say now is

"quite frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!"

UTG!

Pat,

We spent a couple of days in Toulouse and then a couple in Bordeaux. The weather could have been better but it was enjoyable all the same.

Well, about to pick up my winnings next week! :-)

Yes, yes Jay, you are wonderful. I thought I would delay replying because I hate people who gloat  .

Come on then, how much did you win?

HAHAHA! £560! Next Season?...Man U and Chelsea 2nd. Get good odds on that already.

Wow, Jay, that is serious money. I'm impressed.

Who am I to disagree, but I think Chelsea 1st, Man U. 2nd and Arsenal 3rd.

Hi Michael,

I hope you aren't suffering from vertigo from those lofted heights :D

Hopefully our season can only get better and hopefully we will have a successful year in Europe too.
I hope that Martin Jol manages to stay with Spurs because I feel he will turn things around, after all Alex Ferguson and your own Arsene Wenger took a while before they acheived the sucess they have had. Unfortunately money talks these days and the "suits" want things done yesterday.

May both our teams do well and I look forward to more banter with you gooners as the season progresses :D

Lesley.

Hi Lesley. It's good to hear from you again and hopefully your co-Spurs supporters will again join our little discussion group even though they went very quiet last year.

I think Jol is a good guy but I must correct you by saying that Wenger won the league in his first season at Arsenal. Money does talk although I think you will find that Arsenal's squad cost a fraction of the monies spent by the other so called big teams.

I too look forward to more banter and I can assure you that i will support Tottenham in Europe as I do all other English clubs, unless, of course, they play us!
