as i have already mentioned, over time you will learn to live with and manage your limitations. burning your candle at both ends will cost you.
i went to glasgow with my 15 yr old daughter 2 weeks ago to see a concert, ( yeah i know its a long way from manchester), because i wasnt staying over , but driving straight back afterwards, got home about 4 in the morn, i forced myself to stay in bed until shortly before we were setting off and put my lenses in just half hour before about 2.00 in the afternoon, this way i could fit the whole trip in in my normal lens wear time .
just a little forward planning should alleviate some of your problems, unfortunately you will have to compromise though

Gareth is right, but I know that many people find the prospect of having to get used to looking through one eye and then the other quite disorienting.
It is like so many things in life: the thought of doing it is more difficult than the experience. For years I used to wear first one lens and then the other, swapping during each day to give both eyes a decent amount of time without a lens.
