Well, its now 6th day post graft and all is well.
Had the DALK done by Sheraz Daya at Centre for Sight
Its completely different in terms of how it felt when I had the Full PK.
This time I could open the eye next morning and make out images. In term of vision; I got a few letters on the 2nd line down, which was quite encouraging at such a short time frame.
Eye has not been light sensitive at all; which I wasnt expected; so thats good!
Drops are Tobradex, which is an all in one, anti inflamattory and anti-biotic at four times a day.
Stopped feeling the annoying sutures by about Thursday, which was the worse bit of it all as it scraps the inside lid as you blink, but thats got used to it now!
All in all, a very positive outcome so far, but extremely early days!!

KC is about facing the challenges it creates rather than accepting the problems it generates -

Hey Jay,
That is excellent news, I'm really chuffed that's all is going so well. Two lines is a superb start and the fact it doesn't irritate you now is a real bonus.
Keep resting up and don't overdo things and hopefully your recovery will continue at a good pace.
I look forward to hearing about the two week post graft check up.
