I have no difficulty understanding a desire on the part of optometrists in the public or the private sector to start with the less expensive, and more readily available, options and then working up to the more expensive and less readily available lenses.
What I find hard to understand is why my very positive experience in two Scottish cities is not the common experience of people with KC in all parts of the United Kingdom.
