Just back from the razzle actually!

AGM was as AGM's go. Routine stuff, minutes of last AGM, money stuff and slight change to Constitutional rules to take into account the Scottish contingent! (Different charity rules or something like that!)

Guest speaker excellent - gave his personal experience of having a graft and all that went with it. Good Q & A session afterwards.

And the 6 of us that went to the "social" meeting afterwards had a good time too! A Committee meeting followed AGM - and as the committee hadn't surfaced in the pub after a couple of hours I went home!

Look forward to meeting you David at the London Social in April.

Yes, it was a very good meeting. The committee meeting went on a bit though, which is why we didn't surface until about 5.30!

It was a shame that I didn't get to talk to you though; although I gather that you had the pleasure of chatting to Sweet!

Hope to make up for it at the social on April 15th.
John

Gareth

All the best with the red hot poker! Which was the English King who was "treated" for some ailment or another by the intrusion of a red hot iron into one or other of his orifices?

Anyhoo, I daresay that your experience will be less fatal than his.

Thank Andrew,

People will now be wondering about the ailment

Hoefully my poker encounter will be much the same as the one I had 21 years ago and only be confined to the nasal area :D
