I have heard of Minstrels addiction. I understand that the current cure is 'substitution therapy'.
If you want to get off minstrels, start taking Revels. I think you may have to go to the confectioner and eat the packet before you leave.
The result is that, in a year from now, you will be addicted to Minstrels and Revels. Then you substitute chocolate buttons and so the merry wagon keeps on rolling. There is a whole industry of people who depend on substitution therapy for their livelyhood.

ps Unfortunately there is no substitute for a twiglet

I think that the government had a report this week about it. They are all worried that there is no substitute for twiglets. Bread and Marmite just doesn't do it for us.
The substitution therapy for chololate addictions has also included cake and easter eggs and all manner of varieties of confection.

That sounds like progress, Lou. But the wonderful thing about the twiglet is that it is baked and not fried. You see it really is the low harm addiction, AND each little twiglet has all sorts of fibres hidden inside.
Unfortunaely they are very high in salt, and the food police say salt is bad.
