Hi Pat,

I wished it was that simple, I tried to email John at various times for two years but still no reply... just wanted to know what the problem was?

I think Pat is right about contacting John, or anyone else on the forum. The PM route seems pretty reliable. It may be that he has changed his eMail address and forgotten to update his profile. I know that is easy to do!

Andrew,

For reasons I will not go into Sajeev only has access to read pm's and not send them.

Therefore Sajeev's only means of contacting John is via e-mail.

Sajeev, is the need to contact John forum related, inwhich case is it something any of the moderators may be able to help with?

I posted this topic as there was just no way to contact John, and still there is no reply, its been like this for two years.

A loop have now occure here as well now,

http://www.keratoconus-group.org.uk/for ... php?t=2881

A lot of problems can have been solved before they occured, info. passed about treatment options (FROM A LONG LONG TIME AGO), adding to the site for the treatment options, for example, is not possible, its not true anyone can, there is a wall of silence, with now tampering with my PMs going on without a ANY valid reason. When it was me who got PM Nasties... nothing was done about that either.

So basically, this is what really goes on, and its not true that anyone can get involved to do something charitable, as its getting blocked with-out no one knowing about it, behind closed doors. I even passed on my number as its easier to communicate that way... and you've guessed it... its the same as emailing and PMing still a silence... i havn't tried faxing, or a carrier pigeon yet though;)

I was hoping to get an answer, but it will not happen.

Thanks for being helpful to those who did post here.

Sajeev

I tried to follow your link, but it brought me back to the same string. Is that what you intended?

Sajeev has been in contact with Anne, and has been informed that his issues will be discussed at the next committee meeting.

This public forum is not the place to discuss private grievances.

Hi Sajeev,

I asked a simple Yes/No Question and I am afraid after reading, re-reading your post I still ahve trouble making sense of it :?

As for the loop;
A loop have now occure here as well now,

If you intended it to come back to this thread I feel is not very productive!

A lot of problems can have been solved before they occured

I completly agree, however to do so we need to remain calm and objective. If there is something we do not understand clarification should be sought. If the response is not as one would expect a reason as to why in a calm and collected manner should given. Getting annoyed and frustrated only proves to be counter prodcutive in the long run.

We have discussed many times treatmnet options on the main forum and as more have come into more common use and accessable to more people they have been added to the FAQ section. It is hard to post in the FAQ section abouta subject you have no direct experience of. The only reason for example I put the intacs one in was after I had attended a seminar and could ask the technical questions people here were unable to answer.

Mini-ark is not in there because I do not think many with the exception of Hari would be able to do the subject justice.

Tampering with pm's? That is news to me. Regarding action against people, that was discussed at comittee level and action was taken regarding all concerned. With all due respect to the best of my knowledge they nothing of the action taken towards the others.

So basically, this is what really goes on, and its not true that anyone can get involved to do something charitable, as its getting blocked with-out no one knowing about it, behind closed doors.

Anyone can raise money, we have had people doing cylce rides, joining in with last eyars Canal Walk, it was communicated through this forum and the newsletter asking people to get involved, people have been sponserd to do runs and climb hills. Most of these people are non-comittee members! Before being asked to join the comittee I voluntered my services and was helping out here and there.

My personal feeling is that this support group as with anything in life you only get out of it what you put in.

I was hoping to get an answer, but it will not happen.

I am very unsure if I have answerd anything, but I find the context and the tone extremely hard to make out. So witha ll due respect Sajeev I have done my best.

I'm not aware of all the details of Sajeev's grievance but if someone, anyone, has their PM facility removed then it would seem proper to inform the member why this action had been taken.
