Back from taking pooch to the vets.

She walked all the way in and the nurses all came out and made a fuss of her.

From day one she has had the ability to make everyone shee meets fall in love with her :D

The vet is really pleased with her progress too and no need to go back unless we have problems.

She walked most the way out, got round the corner out of sight of everyone and dug her heals in so I carried her back to the car. Today is the most exercise sh has had since Sunday so I was really impressed.

Father inlaw is much improoved too adn i am begining to wonder what all the fuss was about!

At least the week ended better than it started and I hope next week is a load better.

Thanks for your support and we wish all very good weekend.
Gareth

Gareth
That's all good news, very pleased for you, and Tess!

Vet said my 18year old deaf cat (that must be about 90 in man years?) is in very good condition for his age - although he's got a thyroid problem which is putting a bit of a strain on his heart but otherwise is bright eyed and bushy tailed.

And we even managed without the gauntlets today!! (he sussed the towel trick out many years ago - he's far too smart!) A tasty bribe with a piece of raw fish fooled him this time!

Glad to hear both Tess and your father in law are improving Gareth.

Pat, glad your cat is doing well, 18 is a good age.

Continued good health all round, have a warm weekend one and all.

Lesley.

She is absolutely beautiful. I've also got a Rough Collie called Talia (along with 4 Chihuahuas)

Blimey though, they do cause you some worry don't they !

Love to Tess

Lesley,

To put the quote in a box (in Internet Explorer, anyway), highlight the text, and click on the "quote" button).

Otherwise, simply enter
before the text, and
after it.

If you want the header to say "Gareth wrote...", just change the first tag to be
Thanks guys,

Every day she is getting stronger, today she started to play again. While I was throwing a piecs of loo role tube for the younger one she did her usual trick. Come for a cuddle and wait for the younger one to drop the roll and then pinch it and rip it into tiny shreds.

It is quite pathetic then watching the younger one try and play fetch with a sogy 1cm square or loo roll

On Friday a packet with two biscuits were left on the coffee table. I think tess pinched them because the wrapper was still intact from when I opend the packet. If it were the younger one, he would have eaten the wrapper too.

Pat; good to know the cat is doing well (Says avoiding the Mrs Slocomb jokes  ). It does help if a cat wears gauntlets as he can not claw you so easy

Have you not seen Shreck II and puss in Boots
