Hi there
Soft perms are good in mild KC, but unfortunately they aren't made in very steep parameters, so they're too flat for moderate or advanced KC (causing rubbing of the cornea). The Flex edge lenses which have been available from Jack Allen since spring 2006 go into the steep range, and I've been getting good results on some people who couldn't tolerate ordinary GP lenses. As far as I can see, they seem to be the same as synergise.

Arampal

All the best with the hybrid lens.

If it works, you can expect many years of comfortable contact lens wear, but if it does not there are other lenses that you can still try.
