Didn't watch "24" as was working all hours and all over the country at the time - and like Sweet, wasn't much point in getting in to it if I was going to keep missing episodes.

But I do remember "The Prisoner" - Patrick McGoohan wasn't it - "I am not a number!" , Number 6 and that large ball that chased people everywhere! (Bit like my "fitball" - chases me everywhere trying to get me to use it more often!). Brilliant series. Went to visit the village it was filmed in a few years ago - lovely place in N.Wales but having a blonde senior moment just now and can't remember the name! Port Marion or something similar I think?

And the Invaders rings a bell too - can't remember much about it but do remember watching it!

That's right Pat, 'I am not a number I am a free man!'
I'd quite like to be chased by the big white ball across the beach, yes it is Portmeirion.

The Invaders had lots of brain syphoning and taking over humans in high positions, and you could sometimes tell who the aliens were by their little fingers.

I think I understand now. It must be pretty dull during the eight hours or so that all the people are asleep.

No Andrew that's the whole point, we put the earplugs in when we're awake so we don't have to listen to the conversation
