The worrying thing is that if you asked the same questions on the streets of our major cities you mught be able to put together a similar group of the ill informed.

Funny, though.

When I was at Uni, one of my friends asked to bring her American boyfirend to a Paragliding trip in Scotland.

After many beers we convinced him that he needed to be carful of the Polar bears because Scotland is in the Arctic circle.

When we unpacked the car we found a starnge package. It turned out to be the American had gone and got a gun licence and came armed with a gun incase toe Polar Bears came to close at night

He later went on to get a first class honours degree in law

Careful Gareth, you might just be feeding our prejudices about lawyers.

By the way, how many lawyers does it take to change a lightbulb?

As many as you can afford!

Very funny.

As Andrew says you would probably get a similar reaction from people here, a sad reflection on education everywhere today. Remember Jade Goody thought East Anglia was another country!!!
