Ahhh...now that information makes this a whole more complex....hormone imbalances and the effects on the body do draw off on tangents....and can have the potential to affect a number of areas....

In all honesty....the best person to speak to on this, would be your dr...

Id disagree with you Gareth on your point on it not being picked up in the blood...using your own analogy of carbon dioxide...this could very easily be picked up in a panel blood test; and then investigated further....as by your own admission....it takes time for the body to purge this...in fact nowadays you can even have cancer marker tests as part of regular check ups which check for key cancer related chemicals in the blood. Decent blood work should never be ignored....as it can find out so much about whats occuring in the body.

A decent endocrinologist should be able to give you a better steer on why this could be happening Kirten as the hormonal inbalance could be triggering other issues which are related to your tiredness. Its always worth asking anyway.

Jay,

Having done blood test analysis in the past, things are basically put on a system and it is up to the doctor to do the rest. Any blood test referd by a GP in the is country at least only ask for about half dozen things, rarely more. So what they get back is quite vague anyway.

NHS funding at least in this country again.

Hhmm if you are given your blood test forms and know what you doing as a little nurse did then you can just tick the ones you want!!!

Hehe i SO did not say that! LOL!! :P

Has your doctor mentioned anything about your diet? Sometimes that has an effect as well.

Take care and hope you find this out soon, Sweet X x X

Gareth

Agree!....It IS up to the Dr to then do the job....and I guess...Yes this is where the slip up can happen!

Ive always read my blood tests myself.....and have often had to chase up my Doc on things.....as I really have a no confidence vote on my GP!

Funding! lets not start that lol!...

Thanks 4 the replies.

I don't think it has anything to do with environmental factors as I've lived in the same place all my life!

Sweet: I thought by now I wouldn't have a hormonal imbalance.. isn't that what the pill was fixing? I think I started taking it in about May last year, so surely that's been plenty of time to get things right...
