Well Torchwood has now ended, what did people think of it overall?
I enjoyed it but did find it a bit slow at times. I watched the final two episodes with my hubby and two sons, they found it very embarrasing, didn't bother me but then I'm fairly broadminded.
Does anyone know if there is going to be another series?

I liked the way Cap'n Jack disappeared at the end, I understand he is to make an appearance in the new series of Dr Who.

I liked the Christmas Dr Who as well, amusing dialouge between him and Catherine Tate's character.

Sorry, Torchwood lost me halfway through. I thought it was very poor. John Barrowman just doesn't bring the necessary charisma, I thought. Taped the Sarah Jane Adventures and looking forward to watching it. Hope it will be an improvement. Meanwhile the xmas Dr Who was truly magnificent!

Lost interest in Torchwood very early on, but did catsh the Sarah Jane Adventures and the whole familly thoroughly enjoyed it and K9 made a brief appearance too.

The full series starts in a couple of months.

It was rubbish, rubbish, rubbish... I didn't miss an episode though

Please no more; I really don't want to have to sit through another 13 episodes

Well Michael, sorry to disappoint you, but there will be another 13 episodes to sit through come October; but this time on BBC2 not 3 because of the high ratings it got.

I sort of enjoyed it, it was mis-sold really as a series: not enough aliens and the rift. Thought the first part of the final story was FANTASTIC though. The whole series should have been that good.

And yes, Captain Jack does indeed make an appearance (not sure when, or for how many episodes) in series 30 of Doctor Who (series 3 to the non-purists), though how he copes without the 9th Doctor or Rose is going to be interesting. But then again, he probably knows all about regeneration!

Thought the WHO Christmas special was a bit disappointing though. I disliked the Donna character almost all the way through. Too much Catherine Tate, and not enough of the assistant that you care for. The monster was well realised, but too stationary to be really scary. Even my 7 year old godson (who is a bit of a wimp for getting scared easily) didn't find it too scary (though he did have to sit on my lap to watch it!!)

Looking forward to April 7th though already. And Martha looks like she could be a very interesting companion (as well as being rather nice to look at :) "something for the Dads"? :D )

I got the first volume of the DVD presenttionof series one today. Will be settling down to watch it when I get a minute.

I don't think that I actually saw a full episode, and I missed plenty. So, this will be my chance to see the whole thing through. I'll let you know when I am completely cross eyed from sitting right up beside the screen watching Cant'n Jack and the others.
