Yes, Lou. but where's the fun in that?

Last ancy dress thing I went to I wore a red knitted tea cosy, a crown and my face was painted, by someone who seems to know about face paintm as a lion.

Unfortunately I discovered that I was alergic to the face paint. Trust me it was not a good way to discover a new alergy!

BTW I was "The Lion King" I did not win, but I was very glad to get out of the paint and get some antihistamine ointment on!

Oh yes. In the Archers, Lunda Snell cast David Archer as a six foot dwarf, so a full sized Ooompa Loompa should e okay.

I have a dear friend who is a nun: well she is a Dominican and I am not sure whether they are "nuns" or "sisters". I know that men Dominicans are Friars rather than monks.

The thing about the Dominican nun's habit is that it is really impressive, a bit like sound of music only scary.

Andrew

PS how about a Dominican or a Franciscan Friar?

The Dominican Friar's habit looks like all the crazy people in films like The Name of the Rose (where the inquisitor was a Dominican Friar) and the Devils of Loudon.

Taking scissors to a pair of marigolds will surely give a lacy effect?

Marigolds darling are these fine rubbery gloves people use for either washing up or when cleaning the toilet [I take you don't clean your toilet then?!]. They are usually pink or yellow, very fetching!
