Sorry I am a little behind with things here, just trying to catch up.
I have been sitting under the desk again for a while you see and crying quite a bit too.
Hope all went well with the op, hope you can post soon and let us all know.
As for the job, maybe we could start a club? Many of use certainly seem to have points in common.

PS best not to walk, just gives them an easy ride. dig your heels in and whilst it is easier said than done hang on in there!

I am still plodding along and waiting for things to come together
Well no one can say I haven't been patient.
Maybe Santa will bring me my RNIB recommended equipment? Maybe he has it and that is why it is not on my desk at work
