Wile E. Coyote RIP!

Postby GarethB » Tue 28 Nov 2006 2:37 pm

Not sure if I spelt it correctly, but it would appear the coyote that chases the Road Runner is no more

ID 35229
Operator/Owner United Airlines
Registration N921UA
Aircraft Type Boeing 737-500 Engine Type CFM56-3C-1
Year of Build 1991

Details of Incident; Wildlife strike (Not Birds)

The aircraft's number two engine ingested a coyote on take off, forcing an immediate return to Denver.

Spare a thought for my dear wife who has to collate such information.
Gareth

One wonders how a coyote managed to get into the engine in the first place, perhaps the road runner was hiding in there :D
