Hey there! Am getting graded on Thursday evening for my aikido class! Am really excited but due to work haven't been for the whole ten sessions so just hoping i do well!!!

I don't want to be a beginner and have a red belt forever!!! A white belt would be really nice! :D

Here's hoping!!! :P 8) :lol:

In Japan, some practitioners wore a red belt when they got to 10th Dan to show that they were still just beginners!
Of course the belts colours are a modern way of measuring progress. Samurais of old became 'black belts' by getting to be old enough for their belts to become black through use!

LOL!! If i pass this grading i guess it is something!!!

Arrghh why is it so difficult to put the belt on properly!!! My instructor said NOT to use the internet as it will confuse you a lot more, hehe well it HAS!!! LOL!!!!

Hehe i'm glad that we aren't getting graded on tying my belt!!!

LOL!! Anne that did make me laugh!!!

I PASSED I PASSED I DAM WELL PASSED!!!!!!!!! 8) :lol:

Sooo happy!! Now i have a white belt! :wink: Was so excited leaving, i had to phone everyone just to let them know!!!

I came second out of twelve with 92% but as we only needed 60% to pass i was more than happy!!!! :D

Thanks for all your support!! Better watch out now!!!!
