Ooo you trekkies!
Troi's uniform for a while was a dress with an unsual off centre neckline and it was definately blue.

My command uniform top is red from TNG, and the medical top is blue also from TNG.

I thought Troi's dress was blue, but she got into bother for wearing it during the Jellico episode: it was blue but it was not uniform.

What was going on with her hair in the early episodes of TNG?

Yes her dress was not uniform but then Troi hardly ever wore uniform. Yes hair! I remember one of the actors saying that Hollywood/Paramount were obsessed with hair. Some of her hair pieces and buns were ott, likewise Captain Janeway was put through the hairdressing mill too

Not only the women: Will Wheaton used to complain about the way they did his hair. I think it has to do with the production crew wanting to make the characters look "futuristic".

From this I conclude that in the future we had all better be bald, because the only alterntive seems to be bad hair!

By the way, David Tennant's Dr Who looks a bit Emo sometimes
