Voyager was badly let down by the writers in terms of continuity and creativity. Still the wit, humour and sarcasm had me hooked. Its just a shame the powers that be didn't ditch Neelix like Lucas ditched JarJar in Star Wars once he realised he was annoying not popular.

I loved DS9, although I think it overused the Bajorans and the Prphets as much as Voyager over used the "reset button"

Time for another series methinks!

Could we not have 1 meeting for KC members who are sci-fi geeks? [cos some members would rather pull their own finger nails out then listen to trek talk]
Those attending could bring their toys/gadgets [trek, Who etc].
Just a thought!

ps

I'd want to practice my 'Spock grip' on Gareth please and do a mind meld with John in the vague hope I could come to understand computers before I die and try out being an empath with Anne. Then i use my medical tricorder on Michael and diagnose him with all kinds of terrible alien diseases and sorry Andrew but I'd have to assimilate you cos you're brainy and I'd like your brains thanks.

I wouldn't mind, Lou, as long as assimilation did not involve any sort of injections. I am afraid that needles and elderly Scottish clergymen do not mix.

As far as I can recall, assimilation involves multiple simultaneous injections of nannites.

It involves two tubules shooting out from my hand going into your neck/arm and you being injected with swarms of nanoprobes, and you have to scream a lot.

Lovely

I'd manage. TWO is a little bit over the top. Why can't you use a hypo-spray: painless assymilation
