Remember that recent Panda in China - someone jumped over the fence to cuddle it and it bit his leg. The bloke then got annoyed with the Panda, so the Panda bit his other leg

That reminds of a shark story (well I knew I get it back to sharks somehow!):

The US Army Infantry Manual suggests that sharks are cowardly beasts which are have vulnerable noses. The best defence against them is to strike them on the nose! The squeamish fish will naturally withdraw at this point!

One soldier emboldened by this advice on encountering a bull shark in the South African surf, emptied his pistol into the nose of the shark. This enraged the shark sufficiently to bite the unfortunate soldier's leg clean off!
