Is it just me or does anyone else find difficulty in removing the plastic seal covering the top of the bottle.
Of course every time i need to open a new saline solution, I have already taken out my lenses which makes it a whole lot worse!
Last night I managed to cut my hand because the sharp instrument I was using slipped.
I hope I am not being stupid but if there is an easy way to remove the seal could someone please tell me.

Micahel,
Use the Bauch and Lomb as it does not have that ring. Inside the cap is a pin to pierce the top of the bottle, but new they have a blue ring to keep the pin from piercing.
Unscrew lid, tip bottle upside down and ring falls off, screw lid on again to pierce bottle and remove lid. Easily done one handed and with a lens in one hand too
No cuts no spills.

Gareth, I have used Bauch and Lomb for years but for some reason Moorfields are now dishing out the Amo Lens Plus on prescription instead.
This is doubly annoying because the bottles are smaller (i.e less content) but of course the prescription charge remains the same. I can get it cheaper in Costco!
Curiously, Costco have also changed from Bauch and Lomb to Amo.

Lens Plus
Hi there,
I buy Amo Lens Plus in bulk from Postoptics, and like you I have great difficulty in removing the plastic seal.
However, I now use tweezers to remove it and I find this does the trick.
Best of luck!

Thanks BusyLizzy, I will try the tweezers. if I can find them that is. I'm all thumbs though so I will probably still find a way to injure myself.
Generally speaking some products are packaged in such a way that scissors, a screwdriver or some other imlement is needed to break through the plastic to get at the contents.
Sometimes no consideration is given to the people who may wish to use the product.
