It might be possible, one way to find out is first thing monday go to eye casualty with your lens in. If it is a bright day or the hospital is well let, you will have a lovely pink eye for them to look at and make a decision.

The casualty unit needs you to go wearing your lens despite the comfort so that way if it is a lens problem it can be easily detcted.

Yes, you may well be able to get an appointment for the fit of your lens to be checked.

I suppose, along with this, an infection is out of the question?

im just about to ring oxford to see i f i can get a quick appointment, its 2 and a half hours away from where i live but its the only place i know and trust thats close enough to fit my sclerals. It definitly not an infection as without the lens in they eye is so white and healthy and i have no pain etc.
thanks for your advice
