Hi all
Today i have woken up with blurry vision.
I can still see but i feel like i have a haze over my eyes,
Its really annoying , any ideas of what it could be or how to get rid off it would be great.

Anne,
Wash your hand well and dry them and stick the tip off your little finger in the corner of your eye next to your nose.
Is there a little plug of goo?
Seondly is the haze uniform or does it appear to move?
Are you on any medication for eyes or anything else?
I ask about the medication because when I was on Diclophenac pain killers the right eye seemed more blured than normal and when I put my lens in, it would not centre where it normally would. Any quantity of eye drops failed to help, just had to live with the pain!

Anne, how is the eye now?
Is the blurr still with you?
Is it all over the eye or is it more noticeable inthe middle? at the corner? round the edges?
Can you see any blurrinss if you look at your eye inthe mirror?
If it's like looking out of a steamy bathroom window, and particularly is steamy in the middle more than the edges, it just might be a hydrops.
There's info about hydrops on the main KC group site; have a hunt around onthe front page.
PLEASE DO NOT PANIC!!!!!
- I've survived 4 so far, so it is not the end of the world.
SOme of them are worse than others - some make the world a complete white-out, some just a bit blurry in the middle. SOmetimes they hurt like hell, some hardly at all.
Opinions on treatment vary - some places, they give you all sorts of eweird and wonderful drops and start talking about grafts as if they are inevitable and urgent. Moorfields view - and after 4, I go along with this! - is it's best to leave them well alone until they have settled down - and if they hurt, take some painkillers - and come back in 6-8 weeks and we'll see how it's getting on.
Of course, you don't know what your blurriness is, so if it's still there. it's never a bad idea to get it schecked out.

Well they don't seem to be blurry all the time, so i guess its not hydrops.
I have had pain in my eyes over the last week though. Its like a very quick stabbing pain. It stops me in my tracks and then its gone again.
I am seeing John Dart tomorrow so i will find out then if there is a problem.
Thanks for the advice Gareth and Rosemary
