Hi Michael,

We follow the fortunes of Sussex County Cricket club because that is where Graham and I hail from originally. A small town called Seaford which is between Brighton and Eastborne.

I think signing Mido will improve things for spurs, he played well for them when he was on loan.

Lesley.
Live long and Prosper.

I see Lesley.

That is the same reason why I support Watford as well. However, when they play Arsenal, I would normally not want Watford to win.

I'm a Newcastle United season ticket holder - no smug comments about our hideous panic buy on deadline day thank you!

I'm just wondering what the Spurs fans think of Jenas? Personally I think it was a great bit of business for us making a proffit on flogging him to your lot :) he was dreadful for us in his last 18months at the club.

Well Louise, it seems our resident Tottenham fans have gone quiet after their team's miserable result the other week :D .

We don't have any ex Newcastle players but I will be pleased to talk about Arsenal if you wish :) .

I think Newcastle could have a reasonable season if they can get over the loss of shearer.

Ha  I'm not surprised.

Well I'm not confident this season at all. Owen out for all of it, one promising talent messed about (Milner) another one dumped on the bench (N'Zogbia) and an unproven foreigner in attack. :?

As an Arsenal fan, what are your views on the Ashley Cole saga?

I think Chelsea knew they were gng to bag him as there was too much damage done already.....with his Book thats coming out, and the fact he openly said he wanted to leave and wasnt getting on with the Team and Board.........so Jose knew if he swaped Galas and £5mill he was stil quids in!.......
KC is about facing the challenges it creates rather than accepting the problems it generates -

My brother in law comes from Seaford. Small world! (actually I think to be accurate I'd have to call alan my wife's brother in law).

He now lives in Edinburgh, adding to the rich cultural diversity of the capital.

Welcome back Sandi. How did you guess  .

Louise, I think Chelsea are totally out of control. When Russians want something, they take it.

My sister in law told me the other day that in their area Russians take their neighbour's daily help by simply offering more money.
This appears to be how things work.

Chelsea's behaviour regarding Gallas is scandalous, even if every word is true, which I doubt very much.

I'm giving up my season ticket at Arsenal next season and whilst this is largely due to my eyesight, it also is in part due to the way Chelsea and big business are destroying the Premier division

Yeah money and big business is harming football. But at least as a Gunner you know Wenger controls the squad. We have a fat plank in charge, who employs puppets as a "manager" but infact controls the club himself. But we are daft up here, keep renewing our season tickets and ploughing money into the club, when the best thing to do would be to vote with our feet and stay away.

I agree, Chelsea's financial domination has all but secured constant success, but it makes a nice change from Man Utd winning everything. Makes the league that bit less enthralling though.

How are you finding the new stadium? Looks impressive but v continental.
