wishing you well John, my guess is that staple must have caused some discomfort in itself, and I too found light the most painful aspect of it.

Yes that staple does look painful. :(

Very interesting to see the photos John, even though they did make me squirm a bit.

Found the blog just now. Very nice pictures, John. That first picture just sums up what keratoconus is all about. Red eyes function wasn´t switched off on the second one :) I sure you´ll have that sorted later. Once again, good luck!

Good to hear the opp went well. :D
I have looked at the pictures on your blog they are great. I haven't had time to read it yet (school holidays!) but i will do.
Hope thing are a bit more comfortable soon. :)

Well, I've added another page to the blog, with a rather excellent photo taken through the slit lamp!

Will put some more text up there soon - have something to deal with first.

Not seeing much through the new cornea yet, but that's to be expected as I only have one layer of cells in my epithelium at the moment.

As for all being well, I've got a major issue at the moment, but I'll post about it once I've had a second opinion on Thursday.
