To be honest I had not noticed, but I did think you mentioned that your hair colour was helped. :D

I'm a bloke so highly unlikly to notice hair styles.

Girls here are always complaining their roots need doing and I can never see why, even when I am having a good eye day :?

Gareth

I have noticed that young men as well as young women who have blond hair seem to have begun a fad for dying their hair roots a dark colour. I don't much like it, it looks quite odd to me, but it does seem to be very popular.

Andrew, My roots were not a fashion statement. :D Yes it is fashionable to have darker parts of hair but normally at the bottom rather than at the roots. Roots are not a good look :D

Well I agree to an extent: in glasgow people with blond hair go about with the quarter inch closest to their scalp a darker shade than the rest. I cannot imagine the discomfort through which they must have to go to have this effect stained into their hair.
