Thanks for that advice, I have followed your advice and ordered some Systane drops from the Postoptics website. Hopefully they should give me some comfort, I never knew something like that exists. I am also seeing my optician on Tuesday so see what she thinks with regard to these lenses the drops may help with my wearing time.

Just could do without eye troubles right now with expecting the baby, been not too bad mind got away with the morning sickness looks like. Anyway thank you very much

I had both my grafts pre pregnancy, but had to have a refrative keratotomy in one eye after 2 of my pregnancies, would have been 3, but I had a rejection episode when number 2 was 4 weeks old. I have 3 children and noticed significant vision changes with each pregnancy. My sister is also post bilateral graft and has had one full term pregnancy and one that miscarried early. She reported no vision changes with the miscarriage, but did with the second pregnancy and also had a refractive keratotomy after the birth of her bub. She was told pregnancy can alter the shape of the eye. From what I can gather every thing swells including the eye.
I have 6/6 vision with glasses now so I am not complaining but it is a theory I have heard.

Supporting the hormonal theory, I've not had children (yet!), but always find my eyes are far more painful, itchy, swollen - (you name it!!) around my time of the month. Lens tolerance is often greatly reduced for a few days, but, touch wood quick, things generally return to normal - eventually. !!!

Oh, someone else who has that experience!
When I first got an RGP scleral (as distinct from the previous ones made of PMMA) the tolerance seemed to y with the phases of the moon.
I remember saying to Ken that "I don't get PMT but I think my contact lens does!"
It seems to have worn off now - maybe my eyes just got used to the RGP material.

ah the moon, now you won't be surprised to know that affects me too but not in the hair growing on the back of my hands sense...

Gosh, it's some comfort to know i'm not the only one. It sometimes feels like the eye specialists don't even understand our monthly predicament

I am the same. Every month my eyes puff up and are really itchy for a couple of days. My eczema flares up a bit.
Apart from that i am fine, JUST DON'T TALK TO ME
