Home from hospital!

I just wanted to let you all know that the graft was a sucess!!!! The Dr said that it went very well!! He was waiting for me to smile and show some excitement when he said that, but when your doped up on anaesthetic and your eye is killing you, its kinda hard to get excited! lol
This will have to be short because this screen is ever so bright, argh!! Why does the page have to be so... WHITE!!!! Its soo bright!! But im sure you all understand!
My eye still hurts alot, but im getting better each day. I still cant open my eye for long periods of time yet, it hurts alot to even open it a little. When will i be able to open it again, without it hurting?

Hi Jo,

Yes, that is great news. Do ensure that you have plenty of rest time for your eye, I found that looking at a screen for more than a couple of minutes caused irritation or pain, but soon felt normal again!

Great news Jo.

If you are using a flat screen monitor, I find turning the brightness and contrast down, then toning down the red and green and uping the blue colours takes much of the white away.
