Louise,

:D The kilt is not really suitable for women, although some do wear it. They always look to me a bit overdressed.

I was born in the Simpson Memorial Maternaty wing of Edinburgh Hospital, which i think makes me a Scottish as ian Hislop is Welsh!

Brigid

Aye lass, that it does!

Louise, as I say, kilts are designed for people with less hip and more waist than most women. the tartan really only comes together in the pleats for people who are man shaped.

As for women in kilts, I looked damn good in one when I wore one even without man shape!

Well, you look good in the flag, Lou, so I believe you about the kilt :D

All we need now it to persuade Ian Hislop to fly the welsh flag and all will be well with the world. Pity he doesn't come round here :(
