What is the longest time you have sulked for?

Postby GarethB » Wed 03 May 2006 2:44 pm

Found this story on the internet so it must be true :D

"After a row with his wife, Gayadhar Parida vowed he would move out to his tree house and not return.

Fifty years later, and despite repeated pleas from his wife and children, the 83-year-old is still in the tree in India's eastern Orissa state.

His tree house 500 yards from the family home is the second place Gayadhar has lived, after his first tree collapsed during a storm."

Can any of you guys do better?
Gareth

I have a lot of 2 second sulks. My husband knows I am not happy if I have a 2 second sulk, if it is a 2 minute sulk, he knows I am severely miffed and he has to apologise and quickly. I once had a 2 hour sulk and I got chocolates and deserved them. A 2 hour sulk is a serious infraction, like being on a conference for 10 nights including mothers day in Geelong (an hour from Melbourne) leaving me at home with 3 little kids. Ringing 2 nights before he is returning and saying he is going into Melbourne shopping after the course finishes so will be later home than anticipated. This would not have been so bad if he did not have that full afternoon off and could have gone then, not impacting at all on the time I am at home with 3 kids on my own. Needless to say I said my piece. He went to the city then not after the course finished and bought me chocolates as a belated mothers day present. Never had a need for a 2 day sulk yet.
